Random scribbles on a hot sunny day.

Yesterday I followed my friend to church. Talking about this friend, she is one busy woman! After church she left me and went back to her lovely uni to study with “some” lovely people. Should I be sad for myself for being abandon or be happy for her? (wide smileeeee to her.)

Ok. Let’s get back to the church thing. Pastor was preaching about “qualities to look for in a partner.” This sounds so deep. Must have quality summore not only feelings ar !!! haha
I’ll just share the 6 qualities he said.
1. Choose a partner who is committed to personal growth.
2. Choose a partner who is emotionally open.
3. Choose a partner who has integrity.
4. Choose a partner who has the character of maturity and responsibility.
5. Choose a partner who has a healthy self esteem.
6. Choose a partner who has a positive attitude towards life.
****So, anybody with that 6 qualities...?u are always welcome =D

After the service I went back home and wait for another friend to come for dinner !!! I waited for almost an hour!!!! I don’t like people who are not punctual but I’ll forgive YOU =).
The reason given: "I spoil the toilet door so I need to fix it." HAHA.
Reason given accepted plus you're nice so forgive you la. =D
Forgive and you shall be forgiven !!!!!!♥♥♥


So we went to “sea horse” and makan. For the penangites, they should know where is that place. It's located at Tanjung Bungah next to Chinese swimming club. It was once named “sea horse” and it change to “golden sand” and I think it changes and changes and changes and keep changing and yesterday the name was “328.”
WOAH !! .......328?

Me: HAHA what is 328? I know 392 stands for money la.
(J's mind: Wah ! JoLin knows the meaning of those numbers. I think she buys toto and magnum before lo.)


J: Haha I dunno..I never heard of that before wor.
(My mind: Don't pretend la.I know u so well d. I know u know mia...Mwahahaha...)

Uncle and aunty who buy toto, horse or magnum..Can I know what 328 stands for?Curious la..
Hmm...maybe should ask J's ama. =)

The shop used to have many stalls but now it's left with so few. We used to order the beef Bolognese spaghetti but guess what? It’s no longer there! Disappointed. So we ended up eating Japanese food which the tepanyaki don’t taste like tepanyaki, the rice used was local rice or maybe from Thailand instead of Japanese rice. *deep breathe*
(I dint want to complaint mia but but but BUT….really not worth it ma…)

Then my big eater friend ordered another plate of “char koay teow” and leaves some for me. Even the “char koay teow” taste better with big prawns summore! haha.
YAY!!!! I get to eat prawnsss. *SHAKE BUTT*

The TEN commandments of SUCCESS

Following these commandments is not as easy as it’s seen even though it is something very simple like ‘smiling’.
Try smiling when you’re feeling down. It is like using 72x10000 muscles instead of the normal 14. It is hard to smile when you’re sad.
When things don’t come the way you want or wish to be, try being more considerate and thoughtful. I think this will help us feel better. Not much but a little would be a good start right?
I am trying to be an optimistic person !! support me people=))

Being optimistic helps us in whatever challenges which comes in our life.
It’s not easy as we all know coz saying is always easy but doing it is tough. But I will try=D *Need to pray more for help from the Lord*

It's her birthday

It’s my mummy’s birthday but I’m not going to tell the exact date! *bluekk*
Birthday means pressie, so I wanted to buy something for her. Just like the usual years, I need someone to fetch around.
You must be thinking “Wah! this girl is like a big boss or she doesn’t have a car?”
You’re wrong!! The reason is she don’t dare to drive by herself..LOL
Yeah yeah…jz laugh at me la =.=
Actually I find it funny too. So, HAHAHAHAHAH.......
Is not that I can’t drive but I am not use to driving alone unless there is someone sitting beside of me.
How can this happen to her??
Answer: because after I got my driving license, I still have people fetching me around. And sometimes my parents need to use the car, so no car for me. Hence, this is the consequences for not practicing to drive after about 4 or 5 years of obtaining a driving license?? hmm....cant rmb.
Embarrassing? A little..heeee =)....but I am lucky to have people fetching me around. =)
Since it’s a surprise for my mum, a kind hearted friend came all the way so far from his house to fetch me. Thank you. =)
I din't get anything fancy for her. I could not think of any presents. Buying presents for people is one of the most difficult tasks for me!! So this year I bought a simple birthday cake for her and she is happy with it.

I am happy that she is happy :) Yay! Mission accomplished.

Here I come

Finally I am here. Jo Lin has arrived!
I never thought of blogging until recently.
Sometimes long holidays are not really a good thing you know?
I am practically rotting at home turning into a mushroom.
That’s why I thought of blogging so that I can have an extra activity to do at home.
Sounds silly? Nah…
Okay...since this is my first post, I should explain a little on my title.
You guys must be wondering why I name it “footprints in the sand”
Yes you are right! If you know Leona Lewis, you’ll know this song.
It’s a beautifully written song but guess what? One of the songwriter for this song is Simon Cowell…*shocked* =O

I just love the music and the lyrics. To me, it is a very meaningful song.
As you can see the picture dated 25 Sept 08 was taken at Shamrock beach. It was a lovely day.
It’s a place where sometimes I’ll take my dog for a walk, a place to ‘korek siput’ together or a place for fishing. =)
But of course my dog doesn’t ‘korek siput’ and fish with me lah. :D
She’ll be afraid if one of us leaves her. Dogs are really smart and cute. Guess she fears we might abandon her. No way I’ll do that to her!!
*To some heartless ppl, stop abusing and abandon animals !!*
I have love this song earlier than that date actually and I am still loving it..*smiles*
That is why I name my blog that way =)
