The 4 Deadly D's

Pastor preached about the 4 deadly D's.
Wondering what's the 'D' he is referring to?
Not the grades that we get in studies.
It is the D's which could probably bring a huge changes or perhaps death into a person's life.
  1. Discouragement
  2. Disappointed
  3. Defeat
  4. Depression
Those are the 4 deadly D's in life that affect each and every one of us.
Don't ever tell me you haven't gone through anyone of them.
If you don't.....................probably you are not a human at all..... HAHAHAHA SmileySmileySmiley

I would like to share a little of his message today.
God's word never fails me but always picked me up every time I hit bottom.
Or whenever I go off the track that I'm suppose to be, He will always pulls me back on track again.
I probably would have not given up on certain things in life if its not by the word of God who ask me to let go.
Because by letting go, I gain something better. Imma-gonna-do-the-bananaaaaaaaaa-danceeeeeeee !!

wee wang wang...wee wang wang....

Back to the message. No more banana dance ! Smiley
Along the way of hardship that God put us through, we learn to depend more on Him.
He changes our character and changes the way we think.

First comes disappointment, then comes discouragement. Sounds familiar?
First comes love, then comes marriage. But I am not talking bout that. HAHAHAHA
Most disappointment and discouragement comes from the defeat/failure that we encounter in life.
Failure in our studies, failure in our work, failure in relationship with family, boyfriend, girlfriend, friends and etc,etc,etc......there could be many type of failures. You name them yourself !

But always remember, everybody fails.
So if you fail today, doesn't mean you will fail in the future.
Vice versa, if you win today, doesn't mean you will not fail again.
This is life, nothing stays the same........or else it would be really boring, right??
There are always ups and downs in life..............even my smiley  Smiley
But it depends on our perspective of how we look at our failure.
  • Failure is not failing to reach your dreams. Failure is not having a dream.
  • Failure is not setting goals and missing it. Failure is not setting any goals at all.
  • Failure is not falling down. Failure is refusing to get up again.
Some people fail many times, but they get up and try again.
But some just don't try at all (for instant in studies)
Not putting any effort in, but finding excuses for their own failure, complaining how tough life treats them and hope for sympathy from others.
I can only say one thing. If you don't put any effort in, don't complain or hope for sympathy when you fail.

From our defeat, God made us learn.
Moulding us to be a better person.
"Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways." Prov 20:30
He intervenes when there is a need, so that through our experience we can be a blessing to others who failed like the way we do.
He is a God who never waste a bad experience  and a God who tells us to rejoice in times of troubles.
For He will always walk with us and guide us through difficulties we face in life.

Can I do the banana dance again??
