Mine was, “I could have use the money for another meal….AHHHHH….. I could have ordered 3 types of drinks at the mamak stall instead of sharing it or sometimes I don't order any.....AHHHHHH”
I know RM 5 is not a big amount but normally what comes into our mind is if we pay RM5 for other purpose, it’s worthwhile but if we pay RM5 for NOTHING, it’s not worth it at all. Besides, I was still a student at that time.
SOooooo I was like “ how careless was I, how can I forget about the hole and bla and bla and blaaaaaaaaaaa....
Most people will give us the advice of "nevermind la, its just RM5..u could easily use that up in one meal.”
What would be your advice?
A friend gave me an advice which most of us never thought of.
He said, “Its okay, your money could be a blessing to the one who found it. Don't be sad over what you have lost because that person might need it more than you do.”
WOAHHH !!
His advice was indeed a meaningful one for me to think over my lost. Loosing RM5 was nothing, because I have learned something from it and at the same time, that person who found it might really need it more than I do.
“When one door closes, another opens, but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed doors that we do not see the one which has opened for us.” Alexander Graham Bell
Every mistake made, should not be a regret to us because it is the mistake itself that we can learn to be better.
Look at the positive side ;-)
